Boot Manager

Some time ago (well quite awhile actually) I tried FreeNAS on an old PC. FreeNAS ideally boots from a USB to leave any hard-drive space available for data storage.

My problem is that my Asus P4 motherboard did not support booting from USB devices.

Enter Plop.

Plop bridges the BIOS gap and solves this problem. With little effort a non-interactive CD boot disk can be made that passes the booting sequence from the CD to, in my case, the USB device.

Plop is found here: Plop Boot Manager
